Inspecting Only the Best
When a business submits an application Environmental Health Officers inspect the premises, the food safety management systems, and the customer satisfaction standards to ensure they meet the rigorous criteria we lay down for the award.
If the business is given the award we make sure they continue to meet the criteria during the routine inspections we carry out under guidance from the Food Standards Agency.
We also investigate consumer complaints and carry out checks whenever we visit the business to ensure standards are maintained between the routine inspections.
