Advertising on Website

We are providing an opportunity for you to advertise or promote your business and any events, activities or other information that you would like on our website.

How much does it cost?

There is an annual charge of £1 per word (maximum of 100 words), with a minimum charge of £25, for any advertising you wish to place.

What do I have to do?

You will need to fill in the box on your application form. Use an additional sheet of paper if necessary. Keep a copy of what you have written to make sure there are no misunderstandings. We'll check the wording with you when we visit and then send you an invoice for the remittance when it's put on the website.

Can I change what I've written?

You can update this whenever you like throughout the year by completing the Information Update Form (pdf) when you do this. There is a flat rate charge of £25 for updating your advertising. New submissions will be charged at £1 per word (maximum of 100 words), with a minimum charge of £25.

Wealden District Council will not be responsible for any claims you make, and will endeavour to ensure that all material posted on the site is inoffensive and free from spurious or misleading claims.

Wealden District Council reserves the right to refuse any advertising it believes to be offensive, spurious or misleading in any way.
