Applying for the Award
The Only The Best award is open to any food business trading within the Wealden District Council area. There is no charge for the Award.
Should I apply for the Award?
Before you complete the application form you should check the Award Criteria and Award Conditions your business needs to meet to achieve the award.
If you believe your food business meets the high standards demanded you can click on the Agreement bar below and complete an application form on line. Alternatively you can download an application form, fill it in and post it to us, or you will find details on the Contact Us page of where to write to or telephone to request an application form.
Promoting features of your business
You can promote additional business features on your listing on this site. These features can include provision of smoke free areas (this will be removed from 1st July 2007), access for disabled persons, healthy eating options, child friendly facilities, use of local produce, organic foods, or speciality diets.
You do not have to complete these features to receive the award. They promote additional information about your business that will help to advertise the services you provide.
Advertising on line
You can also take advantage of your listing on the site to
advertise any other features or events that may help promote your business,
or be of interest to customers. A small charge is made for this.
